Because of the continous influx of goods a wealth of craftsmen established workshops here. On top of that the riches also allowed the extensive development of military industry and research to build up in the city.

The Cloud Ring is the most inner ring out side of the Citadel. It has 20m high walls towards the Industrial Ring and is home to the rich merchants and nobel families of the city, such as the [[Stoneaxes Clan]].
