Governor of Dostrait

The Governor is a human figher of Dostrait, born in the year 1466. He is the ruling governor of Dostrait, after his father died and left the seat empty.

Appearance

The Governor is an old man with many marks of life. While most of the time he wears a heavy cloak and hood over his face. His long white beard is clearly visible.

Once he pulls back his hood his balding head shows, with thick hair growing form the side. His face is very wrinkly from all the sorrows and sadness he had to face.

His muscular upper body has many battle scares, which he got while fighting beasts and dwarves alike.

Backstory

His father was elected governor of Dostrait when he was 25. Prior he fought the dwarves fiercely to stay independent. After the annexation he founded the underground rebellion of Direstrait. As their leader he lead many raids against dwarven caravans and traders far south into their heart lands gathering great riches, but he never felt like making a dent. He had to watch the province being raided and later been asked to pay for the traders security. After his father died he chose to succeed him. First he thought that the dwarves might object, but by their own laws it was his right. As a governor was elected for 100 years, if he would die his kin would have to take care of this province for him.

His Goals

He wants to liberate Dostrait from the dwarvish occupation. It used to be free lands until the dwarves came and annexed it. In his youth he rallied men to his cause and raided dwarvish caravans and even attacked some settlements to the south of Dostrait. But as he grew older he saw that this will not achieve his goal, as the dwarves raised the taxes and sent battalions north to take care of this nuisance.

Traits

He has little respect for women, as he sees them too weak to achieve anything. He hates the dwarves and will do everything he can to liberate Dostrait, even if it means to sacrifice his only son and heir.

Relations

Reimar	He has little love for his son, as he sees him as a disappointment.
Goliath Guards	He loves them and trusts them the most. He meet them on his raids in the mountains. He saved their live so they repay their debt.
Alloro	He distrust him but likes him for his leadership and courtesy.
Kylin	He hates her for not knowing her place.
