Liafiel was a family from Enmalin which worked themselves into lower nobility by the work of Folwin Liafiel with his ruthless and borderline legal methods.

Folwin Liafiel

Folwin Liafiel was born in Enmalin on Conder Isle, on 09. October 984. Nothing is known about his parents, expect that they both lived in Enmalin during Folwin’s childhood. At a young age he started to work hard and made good money as an accountant for the city. But Folwin wanted more and used small loopholes and incorrect numbers to steal some money here and there. Over the time he worked himself up the ladder to the rank of TODO, with a network of bribed officials to know what is happening in the Democracy.

In 1209 he married Ayen Keahorn, the daughter of a TODO, which finally gave him legit grounds to call himself a noble. They soon moved into a bigger house, and Folwin was later promoted to TODO. The pair had two children, Luthais and Selphie. The family now needed a family crest, and Folwin asked a friend of his, the painter Khiiral Fenynore, to designed it for him.

Folwin started trading in the year 1241 with the small fortune he had saved up, which allowed him to retire from all his other occupations. Now able to work from home, Folwin took family planning into his own hands and planned the future for his children. Luthais would become head of the family once Folwin died, and Selphie would be married into another noble family to further strengthen their influence.

Luthais Liafiel

Luthais Liafiel was born on 11. April 1217. His father took care that he could study at the Military Academy to later become a TODO. He served the Elven Forces for a great part of his life, which he does not regret one bit. As soon as he was informed of the Garlars Day he travelled to Adwick to see if anything can be saved and brought back Ruven to teach him how to be an elf.

Alwin Liafiel

Alwin Liafiel was born on 30. January 1436. As the son of Luthais his career was predestined from the beginning, he was to become the head of the family once Luthais died, to engrave the name Liafiel even further into the books of history. He is currently TODO

Alwin and Ruven never had the best relationship, Alwin didn’t like to be compared to Ruven, and Ruven didn’t like how ambitious Alwin was doing his military service

Selphie Liafiel

Selphie became pregnant and after she gave birth to Ruven, it became clear that the father must have been a human. She and Ruven fled to Cornos’ hometown Adwick where they lived a happy life until she and Cornos both got killed 49 years later on Garlars Day.

Ruven Liafiel

Ruven is the son of Selphie, a trained forest ranger and excellent scout. Due to his mixed race he was never able to become anything in the military. Because of Alwin’s success and good health no one believes that the family heritage is in danger, Ruven would probably die before all of them anyways.
