Map of Arath

Arath is the fantasy world for The Imminent Doom campaign. It is a grand continent with diverse cultures and many races and religions. The most notable countries are the Democracy of Cahemelle, the Draconian League, the Orcish Diarchy, the Thanate Empire and the Dwarven Republic.

Landmarks

It has a few humongous landmarks.

  • Its larges mountain is The Distant Bluff, which reaches further up than any mountain.
  • The elven island Conder Isle
  • The flat island of Darnach Islet, which can be seen from the closes connection between the main land and the island.

TODO Two isles without owner

Location

Even though it is a very large continent most of it has a Mediterranean climate. This is caused by the perpetual stream that surrounds the continent clockwise. Though the north does feel a bit colder than the south.

Sailing to the two larger islands to the main land is a difficult task. Because the stream drifts everyone clockwise for hundreds of kilometres. Therefore most maritime commerce travels clockwise around the continent embarking on a journey at least a year long if not longer.
