The Protectors of the Sea are a branch of the elvish military primarily focusing on the maritime warfare as well as amphibious warfare.

Joining the Protectors
It is expected that every member of the Protectors have had prior martial training. New members are only accepted upon recommendation of a high ranking officer. After the recommendation they are rigorously tested and brought to their limits. This includes survival training and as well as melees.
Notable Characters
Hestonil, Condo Varis Alloro joined in 1499, was dishonourably discharged in 1521 by urging of Varos Valorien.
