Varis (111 years old) is an elf from a well known family called Alloro. His family has an old tradition of warriors. This is why they own some lands.

He is a male high elf. He is very pretty for human standards, but average looking for an elf.

He has a studded leather armor. A nice light longsword called Aduial. It is nicely decorated with runes. He also has a longbow and a small wooden shield.

Backstory
Birth
For elves, a birth is one of the most important events. Everyone from the family waits for the newborn child. While the birth is celebrated extensively.
Early Years
As a child, he was trained like most other children of noble birth. He trained with weapons and learned some simple magic. Soon he shows great skills with the bow and rapier and great interest in his families and peoples history.
There are not many evlish children around, but there are a few children of shorter lived races around. Until the age of 14 he trained, learned and played with them.
Especially with a human child called Marco. He was his friend and they did a lot together.
After the age of 14 the humans stopped the elven training. Marco started his apprentice in the same job his father.
Varis continued to improve his skills and learned many things. He started to train for his goal to get a command in on one of the Big Arcs of the elvish fleet. When he turned 50 he enrolled in the elven military academy for 30 years, during which he was ordered to serve on one of the smaller elven ships.
In this time he still continued his friendship with Marco, during this time Marco married and had children (Varis doesn't like children). While he was in the military academy Marco died of old age. He lost his first friend. Varis was not prepared for that and he swore to himself never to make friend with a short living creature again.
Young Years
As he turned 80 years of age he entered the
Protectors of the Sea, with a little help of his father. While it is usually not uncommon for noble children to skip the
Milita it is uncommon for them to join one of the Protectors earlier than 100 years of age.
He used his opportunity well and joined a small patrol unit, where he proves his dexterity and keen sight. This is why he was usually tasked with the watch in the crows nest.
Yet still, this ambiguous young elve was not content with the promotions he got. So he signed up for the upcoming invasion of the dwarven lands. He hoped that this would help him to make a name for himself and rise in the ranks.

Varis comes form an old and noble family.

After a tough day you rest next to a few trees. As you stand guard a soft voice pushes into your mind. You recognize it as the presence of your eldest sister

Valoriens push a motion to exile you for desertion. Do not come back.” Echo in your head. Puzzled and surprised you respond: “What? Why? I will try to come home.”
